Well really its a 10 1/2 month update! Jack is doing great, growing like a weed and developing right on track. this last month has brought about a few new firsts for Jack. His first teeth are finally coming in, the bottom left was the first but the bottom right was not far behind. Also he is standing really well now, all by himself and he even took his first (albeit small and wobbely) step! This is such a fun age, we are really having a great time with him. Everything is wonderous and exciting!
Halloween is right around the corner and even though we aren't planning on taking Jack trick or treating this year, we still bought him a very cute costume for the occasion. He is going to be a Monkey! I can't wait to get it on him for some pictures. We are going to Atlanta the weekend before Halloween to visit some friends so hopefully we can visit a carnival or something for some Halloween fun.
Halloween also brings about pumpkins! We are planning on going to a farm/pumpkin patch about an hour away from here this coming saturday. Mike's Farm also has hayrides to their pumpkin patch, animals to look at and a great southern style restaurant. I can't wait to get Jack around some pumpkins...great photo opportunities!
We are also at the beginning stages of planning for Jack's first birthday party. I really can't believe he is going to a year old in a month and a half. Where has the time gone? We are planning on having Jack's first birthday party at our house on December 6th, time as yet to be decided. My plan is to decide on a theme by the end of this week and get invitations out the first week in November (we will see if this actually does happen..LOL). Also, if you haven't noticed on the home page of this website, there is a link to Jack's Wish list. We created this wish list for him to make it easier on everyone that wants to buy something for his birthday. You do not have to use this list but can if you aren't sure what to buy him. Also please do not feel you have to purchase anything for him, we would much rather have you celebrate with us than feel you have to purchase a toy.

Lets see, what else has been going on?? Not much else really...we are finishing things around the house because as the new year comes, we will have to put it on the market since we will be transferring sometime in the spring. We still don't know anything definite but are hoping to know soon. We will keep you all up to date as soon as we know more.
