Obsessions

Here are just a few things that Jack is obsessing about lately :

1) "driving" the car/truck. This starts by jack saying "ide, ide, ide" (outside) and then its "eys, eys,eys" (keys). He will take the keys and sit in the drivers seat and pretend to drive the car. He will stay in there forever if you don't take him out - even on a hot day. It gets kind of difficult when you actually want to go somewhere.

2) the paci and his lovey - he doesn't go anywhere without either of them now. He used to not care too much about his paci and only needed his lovey at night or during naps. Well since he decided to wean from breastfeeding right after we moved, this obsession has started. He just replaced one for the other. Oh and he calls his paci "daddy". hahaha

3) toothpaste (the toddler kind) - he will see his toothbrush and ask for the "oothpaste", suck it off the toothbrush and keep asking for more "oothpaste". He somewhat brushes while he is at it so I don't mind too much. It's actually pretty funny. He will also walk around with his toothbrush in hand, using it as a drum stick.

4) Diego - yep, from the children's cartoon on Noggin, "GO, Diego, GO". He loves him and will ask for it every day. We have seen the same episodes a thousand times already. But hey, at least he is learning about animals and stuff, right??

Oh the life of a toddler, it is never dull.
