An Update

We took Jack for his 15 month appointment this morning and little man is as healthy as can be. Of course we need to be better at giving him his vitamin and brushing his teeth but what is new?? There is always something, right? Jack now weighs in at 25 lbs and is 30 1/2 in long. No wonder he is hard to hold for very long anymore. :) It still boggles my mind how fast he is growing. He is saying quite a few words now...daddy, mommy, doggie, kittie, hi, bye-bye, uh-oh, mine, what's that (though it doesn't come out quite that clear), ball and I think that is it. :)

As most of you know life at our house has been CRAZY these last few weeks. We are working furiously to get the house ready to sell...its been a little slow going but we are getting there. Its not easy to do what we need to do on the weekends AND with a one year old around. The bathrooms are pretty much finished, the kitchen and dinning room has been repainted and we have started the process of de-cluttering the entire house. We still have some painting to do, baseboards and crown molding to put up and landscaping to do. Fun, right?? I will feel a little less stressed once its actually on the market. Then we just have to keep it clean everyday...

Along with the above, we are also trying to plan our move. We decided to forgo the cute little house in Elizabeth city after some research found that E-City is a very small city and we want to live a little bit closer to civilization. LOL Ok, it probalby isn't that bad but you get the point. We are now looking at houses to rent in Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach. We have found a few nice places and will continue looking until we have a better idea of when Jack and I will be joining Matt in VA. Hopefully we will know more about that in the coming months.
