Finally some good news!

We got some amazing news yesterday.  News we have been waiting months to hear.  Made has scored high enough on his chiefs exam to make chief next year!  YAY!  I am so proud of him.  This has been a long time coming and he deserves it.  Right now he sits at number 58 out of 644.  So now we wait to see what billets will be open for him next year and we wait to see how many Chiefs they will make on the initial cut.  They could make 5 or 50, we just don't know yet.  We will write down the stations that we would like to go to next and then we wait some more to see where the Coast Guard wants to send us.  Hopefully we know all of this by the end of the year.  Then by this time next year we should be settled into our new house making some new memories.  This is definitly news we needed to hear.  WTG Matt!
